Join the Herd!
Finally Herd of Heroes is finished and out there for all your favorite mobile devices! If you didn't know Herd of Heroes is a mobile game that my brother and I have been working on for nearly eight months for Smith's Dairy. We're super excited to finally be sharing this with you and hope you enjoy playing it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
You can find it in the iTunes store, Amazon store and Google play store.
Can be found with these links as well.
here are some in-game screenshots
Spoiler Alert!
Beyond this point I have posted some final artwork along with preliminary concepts of the game that may spoil some surprises.

Dr. Fizz is the herds nemesis and the reason your journey begins.

Dusting off the paints
16x20 oil on board
So I haven't touched my oil paints since college but when my uncle asked me to paint a portrait of a recently deceased colleague of his I couldn't say no. I have never thought of myself as a painter but I think this might of rekindled my interest in painting. Hopefully I'll be posting more traditional work in the future.

CTN, Spectrum, Imac
I should've posted these a couple of weeks ago when I got back but I've been crazy busy on finishing me and my brothers mobile game Herd of Heroes and I've had the flu. I took some time off to travel to Burbank California with some friends to attend the Creative Talent Network Expo ( CTN). I had such a great time! hanging out with old friends and making new ones not to mention so much amazing art!
Some sketches while waiting for Glen Keane to give his awesome lecture.
side note: josh (bottom left) isn't creepy he was just drawing me at the same time lol.
To say the least I was sad to leave but this gold slice of awesome was waiting for me in the mail when I returned home.
Again it was a great privilege to be included amongst so many talented artists in such a beautiful publication. I have to hand it to Cathy and Arnie Fenner at Underwood Books for another great Spectrum. You can find my piece on page 240.
I HAVE THE POWER!
Just got my new Imac, I'm so excited to put this guy to work!
I'll hopefully have some finished artwork to show next time :P

At the Edge
What a phenomenal show! A couple friends and I journeyed eight hours to The Allentown Art Museum for the "At the Edge" gallery. One of my professors in college said that if you didn't lick a painting you didn't see it (crazy I know), I didn't lick any paintings but just being in the same room as a Leyendecker and contemporaries like Gurney and Giancola was beyond words and taste.
A couple studies of my favorite pieces, the Leyendecker got its own page :)
The museum had a very nice permanent gallery as well, a Sargent was hiding in the shadows!
After driving through a rain storm for eight hours the day before, I was ready!
